(ii) Upper Secondary Stage: A 2-year specialized course (Grades XI and
XII).
(c) Why is non-formal education considered as
a flexible system of education?
Ans:- Non-formal
education is considered flexible because it is not bound by the rigid and

curriculum to suit the specific needs, age, and life circumstances of the
learners.
(d) “All open education is distance education,

flexibility regarding what, when, and how they learn. Distance education, while
utilizing remote teaching methods, may still involve rigid deadlines and a
fixed, structured curriculum.

Give two reasons.
Ans:- (i) Physical Fitness: It promotes regular physical activity, which

diseases such as obesity.

reduces stress and anxiety, thereby fostering emotional stability and overall
mental health.

Ans:-
Women's empowerment refers to the process by which women gain power and control
over their own lives. It involves enhancing their self-worth, decision-making
capabilities, and access to equal opportunities (in education, employment, and
politics), as well as addressing social inequalities and gender biases.
